if clouds were easier to control... and another layer or two it might be coming alone... heres what it looks like so far 9hrs render

not bad, maybe have a red sun on the other side to give it  more color.

great pic. just in the process of modifing mine after looking how you did yours, not a complete copy but your renders given me ideas i hadn't thought of... will post it once its rendered...

Haha cool effect guys.  I'm guessing you're cranking up the cloud depth and turning the cloud density way down, then adding some color to the clouds?

this is how far i've gotten following what njen had done, though slightly different settings.. still cannot get the thickness effect that you can see in njen's render but still a much improved pic than the first one...
