Anyone want to try to move some architecture (using Ryan Archer's revealed methods) into TG2 to wow the 3D world?

I think these types of things would be really really cool to do with TG2, but as long as it is still very difficult to accurately put something into a TG2 scene I think this is a no go area.

You can export pieces of terrain and then "glue" your model to the terrain and make it look perfect. Then export the model and import it back into TG2.
All nice and well, but then comes the "impossible" part: matching the model back to the terrain.
I remember mohawk doing a suspended footbridge in an image and he also complained it was tedious to get it properly integrated.

If your exported terrain section is detailed enough you should have no problems with your re-imported model. As long as everything is set to 0,0,0 the the alignments will be fine.

But how do you know where the origin of your originally exported terrain is?

It will take a bit of time to get it to the spot you want, but it's not THAT hard. I also added a Log cabin to the scene, and that was placed pretty quick.
Howgh!

I would do this, but I'm waiting...to have the next version of TG2 and to have some object or objects worthy of a render.
