Well I realize fully, that this is a sore topic lately, and I have no need to look for this stuff, anyway: I ramble.
My g-mail account is set up to look for terragen/planetside references out there and auto send me an update.
This just arrived a minute ago:

"Google Blogs Alert for: terragen
http://xxxx-xxxx.xxx/removed    keygen key serial carck patch download free keymaker activator ...
Terragen is a scenery generator, created with the goal of generating photorealistic landscape images and animations. It is available for Windows and the Mac.
removed Blog - http://removed.org/

This once a day Google Alert is brought to you by Google."

Don't know what to do about it, and I will edit out the link as soon as Oshyan, Matt or Jo gets this.

Wish I could direct the conficker worm at this IP address, but that's above my abilities.  - Bill .

EDIT:*NOTE: I took the address out and will make it available if anyone at Planetside is interested.  -  Bill .

I wouldn't worry about it too much mate, there are a couple of sites like this around the internet. They search for programs and then change template pages with the name of the program and claim that they have a keygen, serial and crack for it. Never mind the fact that Keygens and serials won't work as TG doesn't use a keycode system. ;D I downloaded the crack one and it's just a virus. If people are moronic enough to use pirated software then let them get infected.
Figured out how to do clicky signatures

OH GOOD !

Well at least we will keep the anti-virus people working!  Thanks  -  Bill .

Yeh I probably wouldnt be too worried either as it was for .9, which we really just want to prevent 2 a lot right now.

But agreed with PG, often before (with my old crappy cd drive that liked chewing on cds) i would get no cd cracks such that i could play my games without killing the cd, and about half the hits would be for these randomly generated pages that just fill themselves with as many keywords as possible and then a program name and then link some malware or virus.

Oshyan

We would definitely be interested in a new working key for TG2 now that we've got a final release. It sounds like this wasn't one, which is good. In the future you can private message or email one of us with this kind of information.

Thanks,

Oshyan

nope this is a scam
do you remeber the Matt and Jake Dylewski brothers how they made millions from a scamming site called fullreleases.net
read here for more info
http://torrentfreak.com/massive-warez-scam-architects-run-for-cover-080930/

well since fullreleases has been taken down dozens and dozens of these fake websites have poped up all over the net ie undernation. well they all ask for subscription and in the end the pirated copies of software you are looking for dont egists and you end up clicking round in circles.
you can always tell a scam site if
1 they give download speeds
2 if they redirect to usernext bittorent
3 if they have in capitales FULL KEYGEN CRACK.
and a few others I can't rememeber ;D
so what the website does is that it indexes your keyword such as terragen then attatches it extension CRACK KEYGEN FULL etc so to a noobz eye it looks like the real deal for example
In google i typed in the keywords (terragen warez and the first hit was this)
http://www.pirateaccess.com/Terragen-full-download-torrent-crack-serial-rapidshare-megaupload.html

no from the signs I have told you, you know straight away this is a scam site and if you continue clicking you will soon come across a page asking you to sign up and asking for credit card details etc

so from the pointers I have spoke about you know for a fact that email is a scam. also alot of these sites are harmfull ie full of viruses, you think you are downloading a serial for your software tuns out to be a worm hidding ina zipped file :P

If they offer a keygen, serial and a crack, even if the program doesn't use keycodes

Cool Inky!
Not trying to be a terragen cop, but jeeze!

Imagine working on this stuff all this time just to have it end up in a torrent or some scumbags warez site.  :'(
