Good lord these are amazing... I'd love to pick them up as they'd work perfectly for an animation I want to start. Too bad I don't have money  :'(

Aagam, have you seen how much it costs? It's just like buying them a couple of pints down the pub  ;D

Haha yup I know, think it's about 8 bucks CDN. I'm certainly considering purchasing :)

What are the legal conditions for the use of these packs? I'd assume any images created are royalty and copyright free, but the nodes can't be sold or passed on, etc. But, I can't find any terms or conditions on their usage which is an important consideration for commercial use, and needs clarifying for the commercial user.

Typical usage rights from Renderosity and Turbosquid:

Sorry to throw a stink bomb in, but the subject should be considered for your own sakes, as well as a buyer's  ;)
Some bits and bobs
The Galileo Fallacy, 'Argumentum ad Galileus':
"They laughed at Galileo. They're laughing at me. Therefore I am the next Galileo."

Nope. Galileo was right for the simpler reason that he was right.

ain't no stink bomb, Jim :)

I've got the licensing term over here: http://nwda.webnode.com/faq-/
They apply to all packs sold through NWDA.

You're right in the assumption that the commercial use entails that the images created from the packs are royalty and copyright free (unless you as the creator of the images choose to apply your own copyright to those images). And you are also right in that the nodes cannot be distributed - otherwise I could shoot myself in the foot with the whole concept ;)

I should probably rename the section from "faq" to "FAQ & EULA", or something like that...

Regards,
Frank

This helps.  Understanding that it's the nodes that are copyrighted...the creation of whoever, is key to understanding what and what can't be done.
So this is Disney World.  Can we live here?
