Not so much a crash as another glitch/bug/annoyance.

Open TG(2.0.3.1), right context click in the node network and choose 'open in new window'.
My 3D preview instantly freaks, like the clipping range is way off and bounding boxes' border thickness is approximately quadrupled in px size.

You can remedy it by closing the 3d preview and reopening it from the 'view' menu.
It only happens when I open the node network in a new window, not the 3d preview.

Before opening new network view:

After:

You don't need to have anything else loaded in TG to make this happen(like the model I have above), it happens upon a new session, too.

I noticed this once earlier and the huge bounding boxes irritated me, just saved and restarted.  Didn't realize what cause it though.

We've seen the "thick lines, corrupted OpenGL view" problems before, but have so far had a difficult time reproducing and narrowing down the cause. This may help. Thanks!

What graphics card do you have, what driver version if you can find it and what OS are you using?

It happens to me too, using

Windows Vista Ultimate x64
ATI Radeon HD 2900 Pro
As for driver version, I upgraded just last month, but I just checked and they have a new one 4 days ago, I'll give it a try next time.  But it worked on older drivers before that too.

It happens randomly doing various things, but I can fix by going to node network view and then back to normal.

Hi,

If you are experiencing this glitch can you please try something for me? Go to the "Network View" panel in the Preferences. Choose some bright colour for the Background colour. Click the OK button to close the Preferences dialog and quit TG2. Now start up TG2 and do what you need to get the glitches. Is the background of the 3D Preview ( the "letterbox" areas ) now drawing in the bright colour you chose for the Network view background?

Trying the above would be really helpful. I've found a way to reproduce this problem 100% using another method, and am well on the way to tracking it down.

The other method, if you're interested, is quite simple:

- Start TG2
- Click on the Shaders button at the top
- Close the node network, either by clicking the close button in the network view or by maximising the 3D Preview
- Add a new surface layer using the Add Layer button above the shaders node list

This actually works with creating any node, but this is just an easy example to follow.

Jo
