Mine shows stuff? Lets me switch between windows (shows the window title to give clue to what u want), and also option to hide floating windows.

right click little texture preview window, choose open in a new window, then click on that.  Also, how does it render 160%

1 more question about that little texture window (heightfield/shader preview).  In the screen shot on the new Terragen website that shows an animation path around Mt. St. Helen's I think.  The texture preview looks really big. How do I change the size of mine?

160%... I dunno looks like a bug, lol.

Just move your mouse towards the edge of the preview between the preview and the node list.  Should see a double sided arrow, just move it to change the size.

Ahhh thanks!!  I was looking for a sizer on the right side of the preview.

Yeah I noticed that too, I think its to do with the preview window being bigger...

Looks like two bugs to me. I haven't seen the "detail 160" issue myself, but I can sometimes reproduce the problem with the inactive Window menu option. It is not consistent unfortunately, but I'll try to track down some specific steps to reproduce it and then put it into our bug database.

Hi,

The detail value isn't a percentage as far as I'm aware. I see the 160 value often and have just assumed that the previews are rendering to higher detail than the 3D Preview, which they can do in a reasonable amount of time because there is less being calculated. I could be wrong, Matt would know.

The Window menu without any items is a bug of some sort though.

Jo

The 160% render detail level has been in all versions of TG2 when you open a new view window, except when you open the actual 3d preview in one. I thought this weird, aswell.

for a second, after I read the header, I thought you found button #9. hehe

That's a feature that is still missing. I can't understand this....

Definately a real need for Button #9! I can't get anything usable out of TG2 without it  ;D

That's correct.
