I think i have to name one folder as "MGebhart objects"  ;D

Thanks.

Kadri.

I agree. I need to reorganize my plants so I can find what/which one I want. Thanks again Marc! I think my favorites are the pines and the American Elms. They work well with the plants Walli has provided us.

Henry,

Yes. Walli makes some great models and I only stand in his shadow of greatness.

If I keep this up everyone will require an extra external dive.  :D

Is it just me, or is MGebhart posting more topics in File Sharing than anyone else?  ;D
They just issued a tornado warning and said to stay away from windows. Does that mean I can't use my computer?

Henry Blewer

He is dominating the File Sharing part of the forum. Lead on Marc!

You know, plant models aren't all that exciting to me. :-\ I don't use them. I like desert, rocky, and volcanic planets because they never use objects other than planets. ;)

Some crystalline forms look very plant like. The way nature works is often repetitive. Plants are just one aspect of this. Rivers, lava flows, plasma all follow rules. It will help your work if you understand the underlaying aspects of what you are creating.

I'm not sure how you could do lava flows. I can do some decent crystals in Anim8or, but I don't usually use them. As for my statement about "objects other than planets", I usually do volcanic environments like this:
Standard rock texture
Red luminous surface layer with power fractal distribution
Add other stuff here...
@MGebhart, those are some cool models, though I might not use them. Still they're pretty good.

Keep posting about these models. I didn't mean to hijack the thread.

TheBlackHole,

No problem. In fact I would like to see some of you work. Sounds cool. I'm new to Terragen so, I'm sure I would learn something or get some great ideas.

Thanks for everyones input.
