Excellent image. The shroom looks like one of the first objects I uploaded to ashundar a few years back with out a readme attached.

its been rendering for over 69hrs,
(that is a little unusual for me)

the render crashed unexpectedly past 114 hours....

so I have decided to put this project aside for the moment, to work on something else.

Why don't you render in crops? Large ones I always split in 2 or 4 parts. Not in the least to be able to shut down the pc with upcoming storms. Having a quarter saved gives me peace of mind, so to say. If I forget and it seems to take long, I may stop the render and save, then make a crop and continue.

funny that you should mention storms, because its been storming just about every day since last week.

I'll try a crop render the next time I render it.
