Maybe I am out of date. I did not like the sound of this years ago. I think I'd have to try it first. I am not from Missouri, but their "Show me first." attitude has proven itself many times.

Well their current goal is netbook users, note the net part ;) there definitely is a business in it for users who spend a lot of time traveling - and theres always a way to find free internet.  What do these users want?  A fast boot for checking things in a short layover, and a way to surf the web, check email, and maybe type/edit some documents.

What does google apps offer? mail, document writer, spreadsheets, presentations... just bout everything they might be able to use in a quick fix.

I might be tempted to get a netbook with chrome os depending on how it works, it might be handy to have around as i travel a lot and spend a lot of time in classrooms where i could use the portability and just the ability of some easy document writing.
