I thought that things were wrong when Mars was said to 'be as large as the moon to the naked eye.' If it was that close, both worlds would be in deep trouble.
Anyway, I have been looking at Mars for some time. It's one of the few 'stars' that can be seen from downtown Binghamton. Too much light pollution. It will most likely rain anyway...
