Feature Request - Croping Options

Maybe this is a little stupid considering we can already do this manually, but I still think this is a great idea, so here I go:

I would love to see an option in the "Crop Region" that let us choose how many cropings for the width and height, how much overlapping, click the button and see them all perfectly arranged in the preview window, numbered and ready.
Then all we need to do is choose for example nr 01 and hit render. Everything would be so fast and easy this way.

Hi,

I think at some point we will definitely have support for multiple crop regions. We would have it already except that we don't yet have support for a list control in the parameter system which is used for the UI for nodes. I would like to add support for this along with OpenGL views ( for previews, indicators etc. ) sometime later this year, possibly as we make some behind the scenes UI changes to support 64 bit. At any rate, that's the reason we don't have this sort of facility but it's certainly in the front of my mind.
