hi everyone!
i am new to terragen 2.0 and i would like to know if it is able to import obj files from cinema4d. what i would like to achieve is, to put objects (like the ones below) in a faraway forrest like environment, have them partly overgrown with moss and/or ivy and make it look like as if it were part of nature itself. i have no experience with terragen so far - coming from cinema 4d i could also go for eon's "VUE". however i thought i might give terragen a shot.

Hi 149047
Download Poseray (its free ;) ) and take your saved out obj's from cinema4d and load them into Poseray and save them out again. I know it seems like a laborious process but you'll end up with objects properly formatted for use in Terragen. When you create your objects in C4D make sure you UV map them, it'll make life a lot easier texturing them once you get them into TG.
Hope this helps and good luck

Also, you may want to download POV-Ray while your at it (also free).  When you load the model into Poseray you have the option of saving and rendering in POV.  All you need to do is set the path to POV in Poseray.

The advantage of this is you can get a quick preview of your model and make changes before going through more laborious TG2 object setup/render.
