Just a simple test, I was looking for a way to have one Warper effect a number of terrains in differant ways. At the moment there is no "Warp Amount" node or attribute but by plugging the warper into a distribution shader and then into the warp shader an acceptable alternative is achieved. No artistic merit in this but it will let me perform some tricks without having to set up multiple warpers!

I'm wondering if there's a simpler way to do this ...

Bah, now its breaking my planet  >:(

The warp shader works on the relative differences in the displacement of the Warper ( I think ?? ) so plugging it into the child input of a distribution shader should simply fade out that displacement, surely ? Well it dose but it also seems to break up my planet, any ideas of an alternative... ?

I'm not saying I know, of course, but this result reminds me of the "anything below .01" error.

When your right, your right. Thanks I'll stay away from small values lol

I think it may be related to the small values, but actually - not knowing your network really - I think you'll have to do with too sharp breakups of your distribution shader, or the surface layer or somewhere else.

Just a wild guess of course, but actually that is similar to the issue with exploding fake stones, when their distribution shader is too sharp.

You're kidding?  I was right?  COOL.   ;D
