even in Paris, and its damn light pollution, i've been able to see 2 meteors in 20 minutes !

I haven't even tried here in Rotterdam. You can almost read a book here outside in the "dark".

It's been solid clouds here in Binghamton NY. I was thinking of taking a walk out to the observatory (Kepernik) in Vestal, but the clouds... Maybe next year.
We have the light pollution here also. Gives people a false sense of security. Since I am in the security field, I see too much light as hiding places in the shadows. That is my complaint for the day. Thank you for reading.
