You shouldn't really need a second atmosphere to make an empty blue sky, though. I do see why you'd consider it, the linked parameters in the atmo node bother me aswell, I'd like to set the 'tweaks' colours independently, too.

Internally they are only one parameter, so that's not possible. In v0.9 they were separate because there was no direct control over horizon colour, and the horizon colour was implied by the relationship between the bluesky density and redsky decay colours. For TG2 I thought it was more useful to control the the horizon colour directly, but to add that control there has to be only one density or decay colour. There are still two degrees of freedom, just parametrised differently. I still allow you to see the density and decay colours and change them by editing one of them, but they have to be locked in a relationship so that horizon colour stays the same.

Internally linking all these parameters is already fairly complex because I've tried to make it as controllable as possible, so I'm afraid there's no possibility of making it optional which method you choose, or allowing you to change one of the density or decay colours and auto updating the horizon colour. Sorry about that.

Just because milk is white doesn't mean that clouds are made of milk.

Thanks for the post, Matt. There is still the option of disabling the red/blue sky colours so, it doesn't really put me up nor down. If I need to use 2 atmos with 2 different haze colours then so be it. That is great.
You can't add a double atmosphere in any other app I own or have used, TG still is King. It's just so pliable to any of my needs, almost. :)
