New pic inspired by Dan's Badwater Lexus.

Great OBJECT file resource at:

Image history: We parked on Daytona Beach, Florida. Had several cocktails, while on vacation mind you, came out just in time to find that the tide had definitely changed ....

For your next iteration, add a Reflective Shader with default settings

Thanks for the tweak suggestion Matt. - Cause I was about to go all big and wallpapery with this!

really nice cloud there
just some tricks for the model...to get clear windows reduce the opacity of the window texture and try to add a reflective shader with a value of at least 2 to the body and all other reflective parts of the car...it makes it look more "in the scene"

Just had an epiphany moment on the internal node functions! Thanks Matt and Dan. See you can teach an old dog new tricks.

OK - the windows are now "see through", but the reflections on the body do not seem to be showing up. Am I plugging the shader in the input node or elsewhere?

Bill, just plug the reflective shader in between the main body colour shader and the 'object part'. I'd raise the index of refraction to 5 or 10 aswell, it'll make it more glossy and reflective, like real car paint. Leave reflectivity at '1'.

Many tweaks now that I have gotten over this hurdle!
Need to chase down the headlight issue, and then I will be happy.
