Spring in the desert. Cool. Would a power fractal with a slightly different color add some random variation to the flower petals? It might help with the realism.

The object has a link to the shaders used by it. There is a button to the right of the label 'parts shader'. This will take you to the nodes of the flower object. Each part has it's own shader. Find the one for the petals. Now plug in the new power fractal into the child input. Choose a color/s which compliment the petals color, and set the scale to the size which looks good.
