Hey Ryan !
As I wrote on your thread the other day, I tried a close-up render too  ;D
I hope you guys will give me some feedbacks

PorcupineFloyd

Superb.

Looks very, very fresh :-) DOF also adds some nice touch to this image. Is it Photoshopped, or a built-in DOF from newest alpha? ;)

domdib

I'm guessing (very much hoping) it's the new built-in DOF.

cyphyr

Lovely, photo real :)

There is some grain in the blurred parts unless that is intentional. Just add a tad of translucency to the grass blades and walla.

This is the image I thought was a photo!

WOW!
is this with the new render thingy?
jesus this looks so damn crisp and clean just a little more translucency in the grass would really pull it of by the way is the grass actual image maps of leaves or procedural colours?

Fantastic! I can't notice the difference to a photo anymore... :)
Will you render it bigger or is this the final?

If i can get my render stop crashing on it, I definitely will do it bigger and with some improvements too.
