Blender exports don't render correctly in Terragen2

Hello,
Can anyone help me? This is driving me nuts.
I create a simple cube in Blender v2.49. Cube sides are numbered 1 thru 6. Now I export this cube as an .obj object, then pull it into Terragen2, and try to render it. The cube itself renders correctly, but instead of a single number on each side, I've got (what at first glance appears to be) a bunch of dots on each side of the cube. When I zoom in, I see that those dots are actually the number that should be there, but now is repeated many times. Looks like Terragen2 is shrinking the single digit on the side of the cube, and repeating it many times.
I've been trying for a week to find a way around this and it's driving me nuts (granted, it's a short drive, but...). Anyway, if anyone has any ideas how to fix this I would be gratefull.

Try this. I use Blender also.

If you are using an image map for your numbers, the image is not scaling up correctly to the size of the cube. Increase the image map scale to match the new object scale you chose.

Thanks,
AFter looking very closely, I saw it was exactly as you indicated. Fixing it is proving to be problematic, as fixing one element seems to disrupt other.  ALthough I've been using Blender for awhile (attached image was rendered in Terragen with Blender and xFrog elements), I'm starting to wonder if it is too limited. (It certainly seems like a kluge sometimes).  Seriously thinking of switching to Maya.
Again, thanks for the feedback.

I will be posting a tutorial on how to use Blender and Terragen 2 together in the Terragen 2 wiki. In it I will expand on a post/s I have made here. I have found Blender to work well with Terragen 2, with out having to use PoseRay.
Blender does some powerful stuff, but the interface makes getting at the power a major pain.
I hope to have the tutorial ready to post by Saturday morning. 9/19/2009. It's going to be a lot of work, as I want to include good quality objects. It won't cover UV mapping, but I'll get that included later.

The tutorial may be delayed. My license key arrived, and I now have the full version! (does a little dance) 8)
However, larger images, better settings, and more objects mean more time for other things. I should have a draft ready.
