Asteroids!

Here's a planet getting smacked by asteroids! I'll have to work on it though.
They just issued a tornado warning and said to stay away from windows. Does that mean I can't use my computer?

I don't know how to do it, but impact debris would really look cool. Maybe some fiery clouds?

I'll probably need to work on it with Photoshop. I did another render with one more asteroid, but the moon disappeared.  >:(

OK, I couldn't get the light source to work (the giant asteroid turned black and no light was cast at all) so I had to use Photoshop to make the explosion. Here's two pix:

First one is no source and Photoshop explosion
Second is the first one with a lens flare

I agree. The lens flare hides my pathetic attempt at a huge asteroid. I'll have to render a larger version and Photoshop it again. Then again, I could put some explosive-looking clouds around the huge asteroid and use Photoshop to add debris and a red glow, IF I still have the TGD.
