Re-Scaled Cameras from Max into Terragen

Hi guys, I'm having a bit of a nightmare trying to get a free camera animation from max into TG. The problem seems to come from the fact that the max scene has been set up in centimetres, because there's been some Maya modelling involved, plus Max to AE seems to work much better in those units. The thing is, when I re-scale the world units, the camera seems to have shifted slightly, and what's been rendered in max is 'slipping' on a zero altitude plane from TG, when the original max model has it's base at 0 too.

Any ideas?

I forgot to add, I'm using Emecstudios latest Terragen2 plugin, which I've tried out on some test scenes, that seem to be completely locked off.

I'm wondering, the further you move away from TG origin, the greater the chance of planet curvature to play a roll??? I'm only 1km away from 0,0,0 at the most, so don't think that's it.
