now from a slightly different POV

added lilypads, clovers, columns, and changed the lighting some...

this would be a hi-res render, but i seem to be having a log out issue with my computer, i normally let my renders run overnight, and i turn off my LCD, but when i turn on the LCD again I've been logged out,
and all the programs/windows have been closed....

The image is starting to look pretty good. The columns need something, they seem to random, maybe. I know they could benefit from some ivy. I would also add a light source over the pond to one side. The light would help the trees pop more.

On your laptops settings, there should be a way to have the LCD turn off when it is closed, but not the programs. It would most likely be under the Power Management settings.

I'm happy with the lilypads on the surface of the water.
the columns in the .tgo format, i might create my own columns and add my own ivy with the ivy generator.

njeneb, I'm using a desktop for terragen2 renders, though i did use a laptop in my early days of using terragen... i turn my monitor off because the power button is lit up even when in standby, it makes it more difficult for me to fall asleep.

I like the 2 light sources... magical atmosphere and dark but not too dark, lovely render.

its a daytime render, but i made the trees so big they would create darkened feel to it...

the sun has a strength value of 5

I just noticed the ivy on the columns on this last render. It really makes the columns look 'old'. Great job.
