Clouds, placement and scaling

Dear reader,

As a new user of terragen, I succeeded in creating a mountain covered with snow. I then tried to add a sky with clouds. The thing is, whatever cloud layer I choose, all the clouds seem to "come out of the cameraview". I wanted to create a "side view" of the clouds. Which setting is responable for that? And, is it
possible to create clouds exactly on spot you want them to be? I must say I'm confused with the interface. What is the difference between "feature scale' and
"lead-in scale" for instance?

So far, I love the results I see in the gallery section, which made me dive into Terragen, but it's a huge learning curve to get a grasp of the gui not to mention the nodes section, also because of the terminology used, if I may say so, IMHO.

Add a new camera off to one side of the landscape. (it may have to be off the preview) Now open the density shader in the cloud layer. At the bottom add a Distance Shader to the Blend by Shader input. Now click the Stay Open option at the top right of the density window. This will keep the window from closing.
Click on the Icon next to the Distance Shader (right side) to open the Distance Shader window. Where the input is for the Camera, assign the new camera. There are two options, spherical and linear. Spherical will make a hole in the cloud layer the distance away from the camera the settings are set. Linear makes the clouds start a distance away from the camera. You can see the differences in the preview window as you adjust the near and far sliders.
I hope this helps.
