Terragen drawing speed

I just wonder, would Terragen's drawing speed be accelerated if I use a high power GPU graphic card? Like ATI's HD 5870 GPU with 1GB of GDDR5 RAM?

If so, how about I use an Nvidia GPU?

Read what Jo said. For now it is the best to go for the fastest cpu for TG2.
