Hey Volker....can you teach me how to get that kind of displacement in terrain....

I promise I wont use it for this challenge against you... :D

Volker Harun

Ha!

No, as I cannot even explain it. I just take some nodes and squeeze them. After stirring and shaking I have something reasonable  8) 8) 8) It is rather a matter of feeling.

Maybe the tgd would help?

Here it is:

here's mine.
Love those fake rocks :-) and low lying clouds.  5:44 render

Bet you all wondered where all the rocks we use come from. Well they are grown in special off-world rock nurseries like this one.
(There is no such thing as erosion. There is no way a simple little thing like wind or water could possibly wear away rocks. Rocks are hard!  :P Ridiculous idea !)

The world is round... so you have to use spherical projection.

Those rocks are quite interesting.  Thanks for sharing.

Here is my first shot of the challenge.
A little forced perspective going on, I had to scale the pine tree up 1620 times to get it to look like it was on the little knoll.  Enjoy

They are something to do with the alpha part of the image that make up the leaves I just haven't fixed the leaf image yet.

It's looking good, folks.  Those white dots are unfortunate - I hope you can get your alpha sorted out.

Nice foliage sonshine777,  how big is that pinetree 3d model?  It looks great.  Where can we get a copy, or is it orderable?
