A low to the ground view; where perhaps the image could have used more softness and a more dense population of grass in the foreground. The plant models are as follows:

•   The Noble Tree – Created by 'Walli' and available at the Planetside forum web site.
•   Mouse Eared Chickweed – Created by 'Walli' and available at the NWDA web site.
•   Wild Grasses – Created by 'Walli' and available at the NWDA web site.
•   Groundstuff Dirt Pack – Created by 'Walli' and available at the NWDA web site.
•   Base layer stones/sand – Created by 'dandelO' and available at the Planetside forum web site.

In all, the terrain is a combination of two terrains; the distant land was created by me and height adjusted to fit the scene. The foreground terrain is a simple procedural base. Surprisingly, render time was only one hour fifty-three minutes.

Enjoy.

the terrain and and shading are so nice, but the tree blocks my view ;-)

I think the tree needs some companions in the background. Great job otherwise. Would not change anything else.

Damn, I missed the irony of Walli's statement.  ;D My only excuse is that I just woke up.

Choronr this is a nice image . I didn' say anything because you seem very well to know in what way you can make it better then it is now  :)

Thank you all. I wish I were proficient enough to create some of these presets on my own where I could come up with 100% of all my own settings. That is a long way off. As one who is still learning, I have a long way to go before Terragen 2 becomes second nature to me. Yet, learning from some of the pros here is a fun experience. Thank you guys.

This is a nice image indeed. I like the tree's texture! Very well composed!
Mouthwash? We don't need no stinking mouthwash!! [MI2]
