some render testing of the latest alpha build, a geocontrol terrain, with TG2 enhancements, pinus nigra bushes, I believe from Lightning (correct me if I am wrong!)...sphere object TG2 internal, and geometric object created with TopMod (a great app!)....all textures are procedural, thanks for taking time to view/comment/critique, as these are always welcome and appreciated!

Great clouds, terrain, surfacing (especially love the black and red sphere). How are you finding TopMod? Is is relatively easy to work with?

inkydigit

thanks dom, I was very happy with that shader myself, 2 pfs and a merge shader, with specularity/reflectivity settings.... yes, with topmod it is relatively easy to produce simple shapes, the more complex ones are obviously a bit more tricky, there are a good few video tutes that set out the basics, the rest is logic and reason!

It is a very interesting image. I may have changed the locations of the spheres and the TopMod object so it looked more contrived. But that is the only thing I have. The landscape shading is great!

Forget Tuesday; It's just Monday spelled with a T

The clouds look fantastic!

Jason, I really like this and look forward to seeing the next one. Your landscape is ever so natural ...keep on.

Love the SW states desert setting and those looming clouds. I can alternatively imagine the scene without the balloons, and with a pop of those TopMod grid balls depicted as tumbleweed, some of them with a touch of motion blur.

I hope I realise I don't exist before I apparently die.

Cool, inky.  Very sci-fi.
So this is Disney World.  Can we live here?
