Thank you all

I must say, I'm very pleased with this one as well. It was surprisingly easy to make. Also, I think I am going to use this simple fence more often. To be precise, I think I am going to shop for some more man made apparel that I can include in scenes. Primarily the small things like this wooden fence, or stuff like an old rusty bucket and so on.
At the moment, I'm very much drawn to scenes that put the light itself in its compositional focus. That rarely ever looks "final" without postwork on levels and colors and layer effects and so on, but it's key to come up with the right atmosphere and lighting settings for the scene. If the render doesn't provide "it", no simple postwork can bring "it" out more. Shit in, shit out

Lighting is almost a science in itself. It has so many aspects to work in concert and influence one another, especially in Terragen 2. I was wondering how this complexity can be tamed some, and packaged up in presets. I need to think about this more... and test... and practice. Oh well, so many things left to try, but so little time.
Cheers,
Frank
