I know it looks cartoony and not realistic...had to lower the quality settings because of so many object populations and scale of objects.
Still trying to learn this excellent program.....

it looks a bit saturated on my screen.

NB : you don't need to put your name after your render title, as you are already notified as the topic starter ;)

The process of learning in this wonderful program - the infinite. All the time you learn something new) Excellent artwork!

Hi Mark

One of the tree objects you used may only have been intended for distant viewing as it has a low poly triangular leaf which is very noticeable (well, to me, anyway). It detracts from what is otherwise a good arboreal scene.

I hope I realise I don't exist before I apparently die.

Apart from the triangular leaves that John noticed, I think this has a nice quality, almost illustrative, about it.

About the leaves, I'm wondering if you have lost an image map with alpha texture somewhere along the way, thus leaving you with the base shapes for the leaves? I'm only thinking this because the bark texture is nice and detailed, and if this WAS a tree intended for distance renders, whats the point of the high quality bark?

I love the smell of caffine in the morning

Hi Mark, welcom tothe forum, I agree with the above!....keep on man!

I don't think it looks "cartoony," Mark; enchanting and beautiful.

Mark, again I say that for using TG2 for only a short time, you're learning fast. I like the composition. Improvements might include using the Cubic B spline filter with anti aliasing bloom activated for a softer image. You're on a roll buddy!
