A simple scene, using Marc Gebbert's snowy pines and Mandrake's moon object (thanks!), all other settings are my own, no postwork on this one, just jpegged!...wishing you all a very cool yule!

Good winter scene that has a nice (warm :) ) feeling. Maybe tranquility would be appropriate  :)

The only thing it needs is a Norelco Santa riding the rotor head part of an electric razor.  ;D It does have a nice warm, postcard feeling. Very nice image.

Where exactly is that moon? I've been looking all over for it but I can't find it!
They just issued a tornado warning and said to stay away from windows. Does that mean I can't use my computer?

Mandrake

The Moon, more often than not, rises in the east and sets in the west; however, depending on the phase of the Moon and the time of the year, the rising might actually occur in the east-northeast or east-southeast, and the setting might take place in the west-northwest or west-southwest.

So the moon is in the 7th house? ???

Beautiful image and excellent work, in my opinion.

I love it - nicely chilly looking, and festive.  Technically, the lighting is wonderful!

Tangled-Universe

Pleasant scene, nice snowy trees and the clouds look good too.
The snow on the ground could use some work like adding intersect underlying and some bumps/detail.
Good work in overall though.

Cheers,
Martin

A reference to a song by The Association from the late sixties.

It looks like a postcard. Great work!
