Hehe. Tanks guys :)
I've started working on a update. It will still take some time before it's ready, but I'll post it here as soon as it's done.

MacGyver - Do you know where that is in the picture you have posted?

I remember reading it around 2006 when Vista came out but I forgot... perhaps someone around here has an idea?

...I would also mask out the cloud that hangs over the mountain top with a paint shader it sort of reduces the sense of scale of the mountain...
I want to do this, but I really don't know how ???
I don't understand what to do and where to begin. If someone could explain me how to mask out that cloud over the mountain I will do it :)

The easiest way would just be to use a distance shader. Just copy and past some coordinates from the top of your mountain, make a new camera at that location and then use that as the base camera for a distance shader the eliminates the cloud within a desired radius around the mountain.

Or you could create a paint shader and pain the area you do not want clouds to be in and then use that as an inverse blend shader for you cloud layer.

I hope that makes sense :)

What is unique in the photograph is a more rigid terrain verses Saurav's softer ridges, also in the photo with hints of strata and deep cut erosion as well.

Thank you darthvader1.
I used the "Paint Shader" and got rid of the cloud. I've tried this before on other scenes, but never figured out how to find the right spot. In this scene it was not very hard cause of the easily recognizable mountain :)

Hi Terje,

I'd strongly recommend to read this:

http://www.nwdanet.com/tech-articles/8-distance-shader-magic.html

Distance shaders and combinations of them are really powerful masking tools :)
If you need any help just let me know.

Thank you Martin. I've never seen that before.
I can see it's a very powerful tool and I will probably use it many times in the future ;)

So here's an update :)

All tho it's mostly better without the cloud over the mountain, I have noticed that the cloud that used to be there also gave the mountain a extra yellow light in the shadows which was very nice so don't be surprised if the cloud returns ::)

Anyway. I hope the rest is an improvement.

Here's another version.
I found this cool script for GIMP that allows me to tone image's areas into two different colors. It's almost like a black & white image.

I like the tone map version. You can also use Blender to do compositing and image manipulation.
