Hello

I'm a newbee. Downloaded Terragen yesterday, now playing with it.
I need help with this image... colors are kind of cool but it's so noisy.
Anyone?

Thanks

Atmo and clouds; increase the samples!

and definitely increase camera exposure. TG2 works like a normal camera. If your scene is dark, you need to increase exposure.

The sample settings are in the last tab of each. For the clouds using the slider to make the quality 1 is normally enough. 32 samples for the atmosphere works well with the sun angle at the default. For the sun angle you have used here, I would try 96 samples. 128 is the maximum I use. Any higher really adds to the render time.

Hi guys!
I loaded my new image in another post.
named:

MAC or PC? that is the question...

I'm trying to make mask to reduce render time.
Let's see if it works!

Felix don!t be afraid to use sometimes bigger numbers in the settings .
But use crop renders on the most problematic parts in your image .
Then you will see  how  the setting affects and how long it maybe take.
Use full render  for final stage .

And maybe take a look here :

Especially the ones with the render settings .
