Greetings,

Is it possible to use something other than rectangular shapes for distributing objects?  I'm trying to create a swirling effect of birds over a building.  So far, I can only offset the squares to simulate a circular effect.    Thanks

Try using a plane object as your "sit on terrain". Displace the plane with your swirl image and un-tick the planess "seen by camera".

Or perhaps use a painted shader to paint your swirl on ground, then lift the bird object 20 meters up. Blend the pop by the Y projected painted shader... they'll follow the terrain curves.

I've never used a painted shader but I'll give that a try as well.  Thank you
