Issues with fake stones

Hi all,
I have the problem when loading a heightfield terrain (.ter) file - with the fake stones. They look like this way:
(attached)
I have redirect and strata shaders after the compute terrain, but even deleting them cannot clear this issue! These stones should have to lay horizontally on the grounds, not like in this picture.
What should I do to avoid this problem? All the fake stones have these problems, even small and large ones. If I use them on a power fractal, they seem to work well.
Thanks for any help,
Rudolfking

At the top of the fake stone shader, create a new surface layer. This will only effect the color until you add displacement. I use surface layers for my fake stone. They allow more control.

Hi Rudolfking,

Download my terrain template and study the nodes for the terrain and shader configuration. Also, provide a screen capture of your setup so we, the members, can dissect it and provide recommendations.

Thanks all the help, now it works with surface layer (child layer input, no colour enabled), but I have problems with texturing, because I have more fake stones... I tried many compositions, but none of them worked well (the bigger stones have patches on their lower parts, where the small stones are around). But over a certain line the texture is correct, so it's not a great problem, but I couldn't avoid is... Is there any ultimate solution to texture them well (I use image map shader - power fractal shader no colours applied - fake stones surface input)? :)
Thanks a lot!
