I used Marc Gebhart's pines, elms, and his new allspice bush. I also used Walli's grasses and DNW flower.

Nice one! The grass looks a bit large, otherwise this render is very good, especially the mountains in the back and the stones.

wonderful render :)
personally i think the grass scale is ok, its in the wilderness so i think its alright,
the mountains (surfing) looks kinda bare.

Awesome! I love the amount of detail in this one, however the pine trees seem a bit small to me...other than that this is superb!

The  pine trees are looking not so good for me. I don't know the object but they are like full in the shadow.
Maybe i am wrong but they doesn't look realistic to me in this light . Object - shadow problem ?
The mountains could use a little more detail .

Other then these points it is a good image for me Njeneb  :)

I also think the grass just right and you have very good distributions - my only complaint is the pines too dark.

Agree about the pines; maybe take the needles into an editor and lighten them up - otherwise, a great look at nature.

Henry,

Place the pine needle image in the translucency entry and set it to 1. Also, increase the diffuse brightness. The pines were one of my first attempts at trees and they need some work.

Excellent image.

Note I'm still trying to find time to finish my Free Tree site but, I'll get it done as soon as I can. Also, you don't need to give me credit every time you use the trees. It's ok.

Well, it is your and Walli's plants which take the terrain that extra step from hmmm... to WOW!

Hey Henry, I would replace the pines by some bushes.... but, fine render so far!

This took too long on my computer to mess around tweaking it. But, I have passed the first day without smoking. So if I can tie down the monkey jumping around on my back; the one yelling 'SMOKE!!', I'll have a better computer soon.

You too Njeneb ? I do not smoke since 3 weeks. I used too smoke 3 packets a day .
But it is going very good for now. Except the 3-5 very bad moments in the day  :)

Keep it up Njeneb !

Thanks for the encouragement. I hope you can keep quitting also.
