Distant Scene

I'm still trying to get the hang of TG 2.  I originally had gotten a little frustrated, because I'm not really picking up on what things to do and node networks and such.  So it was suggested to me to just go to basics, and so I thought about it, and came up with the idea to do more distant shots for now, that's what I was doing in TG 1.  So I pulled the camera back..  I was originally trying to get realistic looking close up scenes.  So I pulled back and used some surface maps, and populated a few objects.  May not have technically been done right, but I think the result was decent.   I'm not sure how I obtained the gliches in the sky on the right side, and the glich in the water, must have been one of the shaders or blender that I done something wrong with, I saw it in the quick renders, but figured it would go away on the final render, which it didn't.

Anyways, let me know what you think.

The artifact is part of the landscape. It is from the camera being inside the terrain. It happens to me sometimes.

Add altitude constraints to the object populations. There should be some good tutorials if you Google it.
They just issued a tornado warning and said to stay away from windows. Does that mean I can't use my computer?
