Running the Terragen2Deep21181 Update

I just downloaded the Terragen2Deep21181 update file.  When running the installer, it says that I am installing Terragen 2.  Does this mean that:

1) I have to uninstall the distribution that came in the kit first or...
2) Run it on top of the existing installation without uninstalling the earlier install?

Generally you can just install over the top, but it's cleanest to to uninstall then reinstall.
