that could be a "political" thing also. Torro is no fan of 3D, but studios are. So perhaps he was "convinced" to leave. But thats just paranoid speculation ;-)

I'm not sure I want to see the influence of Hellboy 2 on The Hobbit... of course Pan's Labyrinth was quite a bit better...

I thought this could have been very interesting. I really like the visual style from del Torro, I liked PanĀ“s Labyrinth and also Hellboy a lot. And storywise I also liked both, one nice popcorn flic and one with more "impact".

Ok, I'll take it and sacrifice 3 years in stinky New Zealand :) Talk about a dream job. Still think Jackson should just get to it.

The last news hints for such a possibility . I didn't post them because nothing is certain for now.
