No, each instance of TG2 has its own mapped memory, this way you can render very demanding scenes in a couple of crops at the same time, all using a couple of GB memory each.

That's the 40nm version, and they are talking about 30nm version coming out at the end of this year.

By the time Bulldozers are in full force (2012 onwards), 128GB per DDR3 module shouldn't be that really surprising anymore.

And oh, they run on low fuel too. 1.35V (and below).
