some model testing with the latest alpha, dl'ed lwos from http://www.dmi3d.0fees.net/models1b.html converted to objs in blender, some subsurfing also, then rendered as tgos in terragen....

I really like the tractor. I think the color is off from 'factory settings'. Cool stuff. It will look great with the barns if I ever get started modeling them again.

Ok so what new features are you showing us here? Speed of render, improved transparancy, reflection etc. A comparrison with the previous version would be cool.
Ooh just noticed you wrote "some subsurfacing", where that evident?

I think the sub-surfacing was done in Blender. It helps greatly with low poly objects. Blender's Wavefront export does a very nice job with the conversion.

The paint effects and the reflection looks really good.
