I used Xfrog's Gland Fir model and added some stars with Paint.NET
Thank you for looking!
Wow, COOL!!!
Fine photo-like. ;D
i really like the water
Looks very clear :)
This is really a cool image. The water and silhouettes of the trees are great. I think using some enviro light on the clouds would look great. The color of the enviro light should match the sun color.
I think this is a very beautiful render! :)
I like those kind of scenes.
extremely photorealistic, great!
Dj
Thanks, all!!
I like to render such a realistic image.
@njeneb
I see.
I'll try at the next time :D
Thank you.
I'm sitting here stomping my feet on the floor. Can't wait to see the next. I think the enviro light would make the sunlit edge of the clouds have a nice glow.
Yes man, this is top. So simple, so effective, great work!
The DOF on the water works very well and the lighting and atmo/clouds are splendid.
Martin
edit: on second thought; is there a DOF, don't think so? The reflection of the clouds look blurry, but that's probably just as it is rendered and correct.
@njeneb
Ummm...
I couldn't get a good result but clouds look more volumetric than the first one.
I changed "sun grow power" to 2.1 from 1.25 and some other parameters.
Do you have any ideas ?
@Tangled-Universe
I don't know how to set DOF ???
The node-network is very simple.
Actually this is good. The clouds have a nice puffiness. Enviro light for the atmosphere could be set higher perhaps.
As for the DOF, I don't know much about how to do this. http://forums.planetside.co.uk/index.php?topic=5712.0 is a link to the NWDA tutorial about this. FrankB is one of the master T2 craftsmen. There are several good tutorials on the NWDA site.

the DOF tutorial is made by Tangled Universe, though :)
simplicity at it´s best - very nice scene!
You have been complimented by two of the best! 8)
It's a really good picture. I still would mess around with the clouds a little, but how much tweaking can you do? At the NWDA site, there is a fantasy clouds pack by RArcher which is offered free. It may give you some help. I looked at the settings, played around on my own project, and because I am unsure what some functions do, promptly forgot the lessons.
Open up the .tgo file in a text editor. You can reference the settings there and use them in your own work.
don't know how I missed this one?...very nice indeed!
