Here in Northern California, we've been drenched by a series of much needed storms. Tonight's yielded some spectacular clouds that I couldn't resist photographing. I thought you guys would appreciate them!

It was a last minute decision to go photograph. I was on my way out of the house to the Post Office, looked up and thought "The Post Office can wait ..."
Beautiful shot! Been looking at the same clouds from just a few miles east.

Hey Mike. Just up 80/49 in Grass Valley. Got a little snow on our property and the clouds have been fantastic. Like Hannes, I think to model those would be a fine task (and not so EZ ;)).

Just up the hill from me! I'm on the East side of Sacramento. I've actually been eyeing houses up in Grass Valley the last couple of years. My family has history there - my father's aunt lived there for decades. My family often talks of getting back that way.
