Title: MagicaVoxel
Post by: Kadri on February 23, 2017, 07:05:05 AM

Saw this in the Lightwave forum.
A sweet looking software that could be useful for making some fast, basic objects or maybe even more.
And it is free.

Interesting. Looked at that video plus another one on rendering.  My grandson has shown an interest in what I do but he gets overwhelmed a little bit with the enormity of the process.  This looks simple enough to use that he might take an interest in it and (maybe) use it as a springboard to other, more robust software.
Thanks Kadri!

Yes, as some others said on another forum especially children might love it probably :)
Wish those kind of easy handling were in all software.
There will be always hard and advanced features. But wouldn't it be nice to press a button that says "mountain",
drag and drop it somewhere and rotate, scale it (change the seed of the mountain)
seamlessly with the surrounding etc. with mostly only a mouse for example?

Isn't there a three letter application that does just that ;)
