Title: [feature request]3D preview - What object is selected?
Post by: 3DGuy on December 29, 2006, 09:45:49 PM
In the 3D view bounding boxes of different objects can run through eachother and when I hover over them with the mouse they highlight. That's all fine, but how do I know what object it is? Is it the heightfield or water? There is no clue as to what object you're selecting as far as I can tell.

It would help alot if there's a hint as to what object you're hovering over or have selected. I think it would also be usefull if I click an object in the list and it gets selected in the 3D view, and possible the other way round.

A very logical suggestion. I'm sure we'll have better indication of this in the future. For now you can double-click the object in the 3d view and it should bring up its properties, including the name.
