I just received my xfrog plants and wanted to try them out. So here is my latest render. Hope you like it...
Superb results! What species are shown in this shot and did you do any color tuning on the textures or are they "as-is" off the disc?
- Oshyan
Thanks Oshyan. I used the USA Conifers. I did not do anything with them except giving the needles some reflectivity.
Well it turned out great. A testament to XFrog's model qualtity to be sure, but also a very well setup scene. What specific species/models did you use here?
- Oshyan
Tthose are some exceptionally realistic trees! I might have to spring for some Xfrog myself at some point. Great scene too, by the way ;). The clouds look a little weak, but the ground is excellent.
This is a wonderful image! The scene is beautiful and believable, I really, really like it.
Well done!
Cheers.
Thanks a lot guys. I am very happy with the Xfrog trees. They are well worth the money.

Colorado Blue Spruce
Bishop Pine
Nice i Like it well done
Very good work!
Excellent render, the xfrog trees look great here. Did you do something to the atmosphere or the lighting from the default in TG? I'm asking because the setup you used looks very realistic.
Terrific! Is the grass the built-in stuff?
Thanks guys.
old_blaggard: I will do some more work on my clouds.
Saurav: Yes, I did some adjustments to the atmosphere. Hase is set to 0.2 and the other to 1.
Harvey Birdman: That is correct. It is Terragens grass.
Nice Pic..I like your Grass...How could you give me a clip file with them in..(i dont know how to do grass properly...)
Also..If you like....you can send me a clip of your clouds and i'll have a look at them (I like doing clouds ;D )
Wonderful work!
Excellent work, one of the most realistic TG2 pics I've seen.
Kevin.

File -> save nodes as clip file (i think)
Superb.... Her they are:
Thanks, Im Taking a look at them now :p
I am salivating! Very near photo quality.
Nice. I can almost breath that fresh air. ;D
Very nice image. I agree with mavcat on the stones. Maybe a large scale fractal as density shader to make their distribution a bit less uniform.
