Thanks John & Walli!
John Robertson for his Ben McDuff tutorial and Robert Choronzuk for his tutorials dealing with single objects and object populations/distribution. Thanks John R. and Bob!
This has nice rich color. I think the roughness of the landscape is too general, but that is a thing I have in my stuff, and never see until it's posted.... I like the clouds very much.
Fractalinda it is a nice image , especially the clouds :)
But the lake seems like there is some problems...like it is floating. Is it really on the ground ?
Cheers.
Kadri.
something strange is going on with the lake, very flat and looks like its floating.
Man I need to get back into Terragen now my PCs working again. So hard to get back into the swing though. I'm just so jealous of people who have advanced onto scenes like this though.
Hello njeneb, Kadri and Reck,
Thank you very much for the feedback.
Re the lake, after I pin-pointed (or mouse-pointed) the area I wanted to designate for the lake, I copied and pasted the coordinates..and also reduced the radius, since I wanted more of a pond effect. I welcome suggestions for improvement on this and on any aspect of the render you think could be improved.
Thanks again, Linda aka fractalinda
ps.. Thanks PG! Was just notified of your comment.
Opss ! I thought this was the image sharing area.
Thanks for the TGD Linda :)
Kadri.
I looked at the TGD Linda.
The lake object should be more to the high of - 365 (Y) or so.
If you make the lake object larger you will see that it fills much more land (with the original settings).
Thus by only making the lake smaller the edges stay in the air.
I put here 2 images to show what i mean.
Cheers.
Kadri.
Thank you for the examples, Kadri. I see what you mean. :)
I think this should be moved to the Image Sharing section. Anyone agree?
Not really, Linda shared the file, a .tgd in her first post.. ...
