Title: Lunar Scene
Post by: WAS on May 23, 2018, 03:23:59 PM
I don't think I've actually done a lunar scene, so I decided to do one based on recent inspiration. Would love to see the grain details in larger resolution with everything else, but it still looks really good imo. Still a lot I am nitpicking over but oh well.

Very nice....if you'd like it rendered larger at better AA etc I could find some time.

That would be awesome Bobby. thanks. I'm reworking the fake stones right now as I didn't like the colour issue, so I think I'll use them just for small scale rocks mixed with the "sand" and "dust". I'll use my limit of three populations for larger rocks I think.

Changed the rock setup, added some rock pops and a center piece rock object.

Some post work on these, mainly size reduction to remove some jagged artifacting from quality settings. Second I did bloom pass (photoshop action I made), but used it as an overlay, without de saturation.

Its possible that image was rendered in Vue, which would make it a Hoax, and with Bobby helping it would also be a conspiracy. Moon+Hoax+Conspiracy.....it all makes so much sense ! :P
