Title: Light & shade studies.
Post by: Kevin F on February 21, 2019, 05:41:14 AM
Been playing around with light and shade trying to get good misty light rays with localised Global clouds.
Interesting to see how much effect even a small amount of the cloud layer has on the overall lighting of a scene.
I've included a couple of low res  examples to demonstrate. The first two images are exactly the same but with and without the cloud/mist layer.
Comments welcome.

Good stuff....I've found similar results in my renders. Nice Maple tree in the path image, is that an XFROG model?

Cheers Bobby, the tree is xfrog but it's a London Plane tree (BL13).

I'm guessing not one of the free trees as I got everything they ever offered.

A nice series!
I like series of same POVs with different light or weather conditions.
