Is TG2 fully available yet, with all the functions it was designed to have? Or is it still in trial or demo mode still?

Currently it's in Alpha but is not far from Beta.
It's essentially feature complete, or at least has the features we've decided on for the first final release. There is some new stuff which will be in the first Beta release, but aside from that it's complete.
The free version of TG2 has some limited features, but you can purchase a license which removes those limitations and, if you also purchase the animation module license, enables the animation capabilities.
