Title: Looking for Mac alpha testers
Post by: jo on May 12, 2010, 06:09:01 AM
Hi everyone,

We need some more alpha testers for the Mac version of TG2. Alpha testers work with the development versions of the software that we release to testers in between public releases. If you're interested in being a Mac alpha tester please email me at:

jomeder@planetside.co.uk

If you can include some sample renders that you're happy with that would be great. It would also be good to know what sort of Mac you have. Priority will be given to registered users, but if you're using the free version feel free to apply as well. We won't necessarily be accepting everyone who applies.

Regards,

Jo

I have a Macbook but it isn't really for TG2. I've been using it tonight with TG2 but I don't like hammering it this much. Fans are flying and it's hot.

I'm considering dedicating a new fast system to TG2 but I think Apple have really lost the plot. At one time not so long ago prices seemed not too bad considering what you were getting but they are way too high now. Much as I despise Windows I may be setting up a system just for TG2.

Linux version and you can count me in as top beta tester or a Haiku version:

This is the ultimate OS. This utterly devastates Windows, OSX and even Linux.

Can we expect a response even if we're not selected?

Yes. Sorry about the delay, you're definitely in consideration. We'll get back to you soon. :)

I got my 24-thread 3.33GHz Dual Xeon Hackintosh running. I'd love to alpha test a new build of Terragen on it.
